Edward Hodgkin, D.Phil
CEO and Executive Director
Edward Hodgkin joined Biotica as CEO in August, 2007 after 12 years in the United States. He was previously President & Chief Business Officer at San Diego-based BrainCells, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, where he played a key role in financing the company and establishing the company’s platform and product pipeline through partnership and in-licensing. Prior to BrainCells, Dr. Hodgkin was Vice President, Business Development & Marketing at Tripos, Inc., a pharmaceutical research services company, and held a series of research and management positions with Wyeth and British Biotechnology Ltd. He gained his MA and D.Phil in Chemistry at Oxford University, and carried out post-doctoral research at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis.
