Dr. Edward Hodgkin elected to the Board of Directors of BIA

BIA Board appointments
 
The BioIndustry Association (BIA) has today elected Dr John Brown, Paul Drohan, Steven Harris, Dr Ed Hodgkin and Dr Sam Williams to its Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting. In addition Kate Bingham, Tim Edwards, Dr Jeremy Haigh, Geoff Newman, Ian Nicholson and Peter Nolan have been re-elected. The new Board members will serve from 1 January 2010.

Clive Dix, BIA Chairman, said:
“I would like to welcome our new Board members. I believe they will maintain the strength of the BIA Board and will bring valuable experience on which the BIA can call. I look forward to working with them to help the BIA deliver a strategy to meet our objectives and build on our successes in meeting the needs of our members.

“I would also like to thank the Board members that will step down at the end of the year for their contributions to the BIA.”
