Biotica’s polyketide library
Biotica has assembled a library of pure polyketide compounds of known structure. This expanding library of naturally-occurring polyketides, all of which were originally identified due to their biological activity, is a resource for identification of novel optimisable leads. The compounds in the library are selected based on:

  • High-content chemistry, offering human biology-rich activity
  • Biosynthetic pathways amenable to Biotica’s novoPT optimisation methods
  • Opportunity to generate proprietary, patentable analogues
  • Production through scaleable fermentation
  • Potential to screen for new hits in challenging indications
