Biotica selects projects that maximise the value of programmes while ensuring a relatively low development risk.
Biotica uses three key criteria to select lead compounds for optimisation projects from among the 5-10,000 known polyketides:

Together, these criteria ensure that Biotica invests in projects that have a high probability of both commercial and technical success and that are attractive to potential partners at a relatively early stage in development.
