Biotica develops its therapeutic programmes to preclinical proof-of-concept and then seeks a partner with therapeutic area and development expertise to collaborate on completion of lead optimisation and undertake development and commercialisation.

Lead optimisation collaborations
Biotica undertakes lead optimisation collaborations around a partner’s polyketide of interest.

Current partnerships
Biotica has succesful ongoing collaborations with two companies:

  • with Pfizer on the nPT-mTOR programme of novel rapamycin analogues
  • with GlaxoSmithKline on the nPT-ery programme of novel erythromycin analogues
